Sport in Gamlingay
A safe place to walk, jog, exercise and enjoy sport in a sustainable location on the westerly side of the village would be used by many as Gamlingay recovers from the impact of coronavirus and multiple lockdowns.
New multi-use pavillion
Gamlingay has expanded and lost vital historic green space. The size and location of the green can easily accommodate new changing rooms for a pitch, a small gym, an outdoor gym, a home for youth groups, and could easily be used for either tennis, bowls, netball and other activities if the community consensus desires it.
Sports
The green would compensate for the loss of two full-size sports pitches due to the Village College and the Eco Hub expansions and at a time the youth, adult, and veterans football clubs are buoyant.
